DDRX Arrives in Brisbane!
« on: February 12, 2009, 05:37:41 PM »
Timezone Albert St has today installed the DanceDanceRevolution X upgrade, replacing their SuperNOVA2 cabinet.

The latest DDR brings a host of new songs, graphical tweaks, USB memory support, some updated revival tracks, and possibly the greatest addition of all: MC Hammer.

TZ have set the pricing to $2 for 3 songs ($1.50 for VIP card holders) which is to be expected for a new title. USB ports were not yet active this afternoon, but the techs have promised to work on getting those fixed shortly.

So what do you think of the new mix? Which songs are worth checking out? Leave your comments and share my love your thoughts.

man mc hammer was great. stop " HAMMER TIME .' but from our short snippet of what we played ill still say its trying to be a bit itg like. some of the songs sound.nota good or bad thing just an observation.

i thought$2 for 3 stages was alittle steep. $2 for 4 stages or $1.50 for 3 just seems a little more fair. meh ill still play till i figure out if i like the songlist or not. and if i dont back to sn2 for me.
Brisbemani, moar liek brisgay amirite!?

It is $1.50 for 3 songs... if you're a VIP. Which you are as long as you have a plastic card, so anyone reading this should be included ;D

That's pretty good for an intro price, I'll pay 1.50 to play DDRX

Course I'll probably migrate to funhouse when the novelty of the new songs wears off, lol, or just play a little less

Either way I'm really excited for this ^_^

Yay! I enjoyed the fact that I could play it :P In fact I realise there's three threads that could all be talking about DDR X...

This one, the one about Timezone, and the Thursday nights meet up.

But yeah. It arrived in Brisbane... no complaints, go play it...

Oddly enough I had a lot of people asking me about the condition of the pads for DDR X... the machine is the same so yeah...

That I absolutely agree with, but they're kinda cramped for space atm. Moving DDR would require a major reshuffle of the machines, and I suspect that will have to wait until after the refurb is complete and the booth is gone.

I think it's the puppy that really makes that pic.

I like the pimp chain myself.  But I wonder how the puppy got up there.
