Although Japan's already more or less been dismissed, you'd be nuts to only go there just for the weekend. 16-17 hour flight time for 48 hours in a country that has way too much to see and do? Not to mention if you fly to Narita you'll probably spent another 5-6 hours just getting in and out of Tokyo. I remember going down to Melbourne for a weekend and feeling ripped off based on time ratio spent traveling/at destination.

As far as other destinations go, I'm fairly easy. If I am partaking money won't be a problem. Any Australian capitals besides Darwin/Canberra seem to have enough interesting stuff in them.

Hotdogs are awesome.

I almost guarantee that if a trip to Japan was planned, most people would be aiming for a week minimum.

Man that's what I started on back in higschool man. Undeground TZ in the city with their 1hr powerplay cards or whatever. We'd always manage to get 99 credits onto the DDR machine in that time and play right through... that machine was pretty fraked from memory!

Good times lol

So we'd be looking at a Bemanipalooza SPECIAL. Week-long version, possibly across 2 cities, start one weekend in Tokyo, travel somewhere else mid-week. People can opt to stay an extra week for themselves.

But yeah, a plan for a later time. I'd absolutely love to visit Japan some day, especially with this crew, but when the time is right.

Hey, Canberra is cool! It has magpies instead of pigeons! And the arcade in the city is up a dingy set of stairs through a dodgy-looking hole in the wall, and their prize redemption machines have cash taped to the prizes!

OK, it's a hole and I'm in no rush to go back there.

Between Sydney, Adelaide and Perth, Sydney seems the next logical step. Then Aderaide to visit Peach and anyone else still down there. Perth has Camsta I guess?

I like hotdogs.

Place I usually stay in Sydney (although it's been a while) is over in Ultimo, about 2 blocks from the Powerhouse and a Monorail stop, and a pretty straight-forward walk to where the arcades are/were on George St.

But it doesn't have hotdogs.

Also I have heard of Harry's Cafe de Wheels before somewhere...
