Just a bit of a heads-up, Morayfield does have a tendency to be booked out for parties, and furthermore they don't put a sign on the door saying when they'll reopen to the general public. I shall, however, try to get a list of open Saturdays, being the nice, self-sacrifising person that I am. I have dealt with one too many 'shopping' trips being dissapointed.

Couldn't hurt to add Morayfield in. It is my little northern slump, after all. And you guys don't travel all the way up here nearly often enough.

Heck, the last time we got a group up here was when I met Joel for the first time.

...and that was over two years ago!

Oh, and sorry I didn't make it to today's Chermside thing. Turns out I didn't wake up until 1pm.

We're up to next month with the schedule now.

I'm leaving Sunnybank for next weekend but we'll take the weekend after off.

I'll sort out the other dates when I'm less drunk.

Morayfield is north? Wow, I seem to learn something new every day =) I'm in for Sunnybank - meet up in the city like we did for Indro?

Also, I am rather ridiculously proud to announce my first ever AA =) So what if it was Love shine? =D *bounces around in state of complete hyper-ego*

:D Awesome stuff on that AA!

Who cares what it was, it's still a step, well done (although needless to say we would be more impressed if your first AA was PSM... *nudge*

Congratulations!

Dunno how likely this week's trip is to go ahead.

I'm pretty sick right now, and won't be rushing out to strain my health if I'm not 100% by the weekend. I understand Pascal may also be pretty unwell.

Anyone else who was looking forward to a DDR outing this weekend?

Meh we could just have one of those weekends where everyone just bums around in the city, plus there still hasn't been a real decision on where to go next anyway.

I like ITG. However wasnt there talk on going to morayfield?
Another location could be browns plains but its space is very small....but para para, korean beatmania and ddr makes for lots of crowd involvement.

There is talk about going to Morayfield but are you guys really up for that this weekend? I do propose for it next weekend, though, if you're running out of ideas.

Morayfield has Supersessions, running 1pm to3pm Saturday (I'm not too sure about the Saturday one, maybe Shanny can confirm?)

Sunday's supersession is definitely from 10pm-12am. Both cost $12, but I believe the Sunday supersession is the only one that actually locks you in. (With the Saturday supersession I believe you have to nag a staff member each time you want to play.

I do recommend the Supersessions, otherwise it's $2 pp, not joint premium. It's probably the most expensive DDR game in Australia. (Well it wasn't when Supanova was $2 pp not joint premium and only had three stages... this one actually has four.)

Mathematically, the Supersession is great if there's only a couple of people going. You pay $12 for unlimited play for 2 hours. However if there are a lot of people going and paying $12, they may not get their money's worth since it will take ages for each turn. (This one also applies if you can't focus for 2 hours or really just want to hang out)

Morayfield is so weird. Everyone (including me) calls it a dump, yet it has almost every store in existance. In some cases it even has more than the city does. What we DON'T have is high end fashion names or big restaurants, but WE have a Bi-Lo. WE have a Spotlight. WE even have a fricken Hogs Breath Cafe. Soon we'll have Valley Girl too. fraking Valley Girl.

Oh, and we'll have Krispy Kremes soon too.

Ack, sorry can't confirm. Supersession sounds good to me though. Anyone walked from M. station to the center? Other alternative would be (I think - haven't really looked into it before) training to b.gary, then bussing in. Would also cut a zone off the train ticket, if it matters to anyone.
I haven't been up for a while actually... any news on machine condition?

Even if you train it to Burpengary and bus it into Morayfield you don't save yourself a zone because you still have to pay for the bus!

Travel isn't even a question as far as I'm concerned. Take the train to Morayfield, and walk the 5 minutes or so to the shops. Joel would say the same. It's really less than the walk from Central to Replay!

When I played the machine last (about two weeks ago?) the pads were surprisingly satisfactory! I played P1 side, and didn't get any misses I felt were undeserved (maybe one or two, which is pretty damned good).

Didn't play P2 side. The machine condition can vary quite a bit, and has been in really bad condition in the past, but lately has also been quite playable.

Unwillingly, at times.

On a Thursday night (that's our late-night shopping) you have to walk through a wall of smoke, bogans and teenage whores to get through the doors.
The fact that we also take the bins out on a Thursday means there's two different meanings to 'the trash is out'.

I'm unsure if I will be doing anything. As I said though, I do propose Morayfield for NEXT week. Perhaps a 'bum-in-the-city' session for this weekend?
