I wonder why, and where it went?

I mean, "it's a broken piece of smeg" isn't justification in John's mind to remove it.

lol... not that machine

however tbh it just isn't good enough. you cant argue with this, players like me, dan, kevin etc. who are all a lot better than you all agree with this. we all get smeg and it's really annoying. Dan gets pad greats like crazy. I dont even bother maing there, its a waste

You guys were considering buying the machine though weren't you? Or trying to, not sure which?

Also, there's the machine at Lawnton apparently.

Laser Zone or whatever had no DDR. They had nothing of note. Kylie is a lying liar!

DDR Extreme in Strathpine GameZone (Westfield) is 4 stages, $1, no JGP.  1P side is a bit iffy, 2P side seems working fine. Fully unlocked, screen is really clear, has working memcard slots, but has no edits stored on it. This is the old Tops machine, no doubt about it. Nice and loud too.

Overall if I was local I'd be really happy with this.

Re: Chermside machine, most of you know but I'm just going to post it for clarification, even though it is an Extreme DDR machine, the banner says 3rd Mix (not 4th or whatever).

And it's a pretty good machine too. I've only played 2p, but few problems. Pretty good standards. Ummm... was going to write something else but now I can't remember. Oh yeah, it still has scores from Growly, Shu and myself etc. There is no reason why I should have scores on the machine ever, let alone still.

sorry lachlan, some of us are gonna try and keep a more accurate update on the machines around brisbane. I personally am going to make an effort to visit 1 non cbd DDR machine every week as well as keeping tabs on the cbd ones. I know I speak for a few people when I say it would be better if we had a more accurate idea of how all the machines are handling incase some people wanna take a trip somewhere atleast they can be advised oh its condition and know what to expect. of course you input is welcome too if you or infact anyone wants to help keep a more accurate log of machine condition.

While I appreciate the effort that Lachlan has put into this thread over the time it's been here, I think it fair to say that keeping a thread updated on this forum is not his highest priority. Especially when the OP says it was last updated "11/8". Almost a year ago?

Would anyone legitimately object to the creation of a 'State of machines around Brisbane v3' thread? Something that someone with a more vested interest in keeping it updated could be responsible for?

Of course, I would expect that we reference Lachlan in the new thread for all his work in this one.

Like I said it's the Tops one - remember when you were really happy because you had scores up there?  It's that one.  It still has RFPB (Ragtime Foghorn Piper Band) as the top Dancemania score.

Quote
Mix: DDR Extreme
Price: $1 @ four songs
Condition: 2P is pretty much unplayable. 1P is fairly sensitive.
Comments: Has memory card slots. This machine used to be at tops before it became Funhouse.

I think my information on the machine is quite accurate, even though it is like a year old...?

what stuff actually needs updating? Like that fact ddr sn2 is now ddrx? isn't everything still the same? Oh wait, so strathpine ddr EX 2p is ok now but 1p is good? I guess I can change that.

I may as well update a bit more. Someone look over it now and see if anything is wrong/out of date.

I'd say 2p is good, depending on your opinion of what is 'ok' and what is 'good'. I was getting A's on 2p so I'd say that's good.

that first $ is probably his phone screwing up.

I'd say the Strathpine machine basically...well simply put I reckon I could get ES on 2P but it'd be an effort on 1P.  But I had a whopping headache and forgot my wallet yesterday so I had no chance anyway.
