Yeah, I usually check out Kotaku when I get home from work - it's pretty hard to miss it when it's the second most recent article, too (still is!  They don't update enough on weekends!)

I'll do a video in GSTZ and it will get seriously like 200000 views because I'm pretty good.

Finally got our DDR X modded so the USB ports work, just waiting for someone to test it! I don't have a USB on me (or any edit data for that matter)

Gave the DDR pads complete maintenance on Saturday. Cleaned everything out and replaced sensors that weren't behaving. Much better now ^_^

We have some edits on the machine now, does anyone have some good ones to pass on? I don't think we have any Single edits still =(

If someone wants to give me some idea which of mine are 'good' I'll happily upload them.  Is any format other than USB preferrable, like .max format for example?

however tbh it just isn't good enough. you cant argue with this, players like me, dan, kevin etc. who are all a lot better than you all agree with this. we all get smeg and it's really annoying. Dan gets pad greats like crazy. I dont even bother maing there, its a waste

The DDR X machine has had patch 2009031600 applied. Note that patches aren't cumulative, so it doesn't unlock prior patch updates.

This one does this:

・When the machine cannot store any more EDIT DATA in the machine, new EDIT DATA will now replace the old EDIT DATA properly.
・More timing data fixes.
・Transmission of EDIT DATA over e-AMUSEMENT will be activated.
?Additional RIVAL features will be activated.
・When beginning a song, all types high scores will now be displayed. (i.e. machine/global, similiar with SN2)

And all X-Specials can be unlocked:

X-Special Conditions

DDR 1stMIX
Play at least one 1stMIX song on any difficulty and get dance level AA before FINAL STAGE.
Get dance level AA on a RANDOM or red song at FINAL STAGE on any difficulty.

DDR 2ndMIX
Play one or two 2ndMIX songs on any difficulty and get dance level AA before FINAL STAGE. Playing two will increase chances of PARANOiA MAX(DIRTY MIX) appearing via RANDOM later.
Get dance level AA on PARANOiA MAX(DIRTY MIX) on any difficulty selected by RANDOM on FINAL STAGE.
After clearing EXTRA STAGE, selecting RANDOM will allow you to play PARANOiA MAX~DIRTY MIX~in roulette(X-Special) instead of PARANOiA MAX~DIRTY MIX~(X-Special).

DDR 3rdMIX
Highlight a 3rdMIX song you would like to play and enter the 3rdMIX SSR code (←←←→→→←→) on the panels. Play the song on EXPERT difficulty and get dance level AA.
Get dance level AA on a red song at FINAL STAGE on EXPERT difficulty only.

DDR 4thMIX
Select YUNI or JENNY as your character.
Play at least one 4thMIX song on any difficulty and get dance level AA before FINAL STAGE.
Get dance level AA on a RANDOM or red song at FINAL STAGE on any difficulty.

DDR 5thMIX
Get dance level AA on any Xmix song on any difficulty.

DDRMAX
Play at least one DDRMAX song on EXPERT difficulty and get dance level AA before FINAL STAGE.
Get dance level AA on a red song at FINAL STAGE on EXPERT difficulty with modifiers x1.5 and REVERSE, additional modifiers are allowed.

DDRMAX2
Play at least one DDRMAX2 or DDR SuperNOVA2 CHALLENGE song on CHALLENGE difficulty and get dance level AA before FINAL STAGE.
Get dance level AA on a RANDOM or red song at FINAL STAGE on any difficulty.

DDR EXTREME
The FINAL STAGE condition is as follows: Get dance level AA on a RANDOM or red song at FINAL STAGE.
Depending on the number of songs per play the machine is set to, you must play these songs in this order before FINAL STAGE as well as getting dance level AA on every one of them:

3 songs per credit:
MAX 300 (EXPERT) ? MAXX UNLIMITED (EXPERT) ? FINAL STAGE condition
MAX 300 (EXPERT) ? Any Xmix (EXPERT)

4 songs per credit:
MAX 300 (EXPERT) ? MAXX UNLIMITED (EXPERT) ? SAKURA (EXPERT) ? FINAL STAGE condition
MAX 300 (EXPERT) ? MAXX UNLIMITED (EXPERT) ? Any Xmix (EXPERT) unconfirmed

5 songs per credit:

So guys, what's new/cool in this version?

Here's hoping we'll see it in Brisbane soon.

I should probably point out how rediculously hard it is to install X, or to remove it.

I suspect that if you have a vehicle that is up to spec, actually asking as I did in Brisbane for a change to your platform from X to XL for example is simply a matter of them changing your profile. .... but I'm not conversant with the situation in Sydney.
