June 20, 2009, 01:01:00 pm by EBE@RTF
Following the success of MASP, Team Ranking Task-Force is pleased to announce it's next DanceDanceRevolution competition is now scheduled for the weekend of August 1&2.

While MASP was Performance-focussed, this next event will be a Score Competition, featuring sections for multiple skill levels, and different play styles. This will be a massive event, in the tradition of the old PSSP Competitions, and we invite all DDR players to come and take part!

Stay tuned to the site as more information will be confirmed soon.

Those of you who have seen the MASP Results posted in Timezone will note that our next competition was planned for July, however between school holidays, the monthly Justice League event, and other personal committments for the team, there were no suitable weekends left. We apologise for the delay, and hope to see you all competing in August.

exclamation DDRX Arrives in Brisbane!
February 12, 2009, 04:37:41 pm by EBE@RTF
Timezone Albert St has today installed the DanceDanceRevolution X upgrade, replacing their SuperNOVA2 cabinet.

The latest DDR brings a host of new songs, graphical tweaks, USB memory support, some updated revival tracks, and possibly the greatest addition of all: MC Hammer.

TZ have set the pricing to $2 for 3 songs ($1.50 for VIP card holders) which is to be expected for a new title. USB ports were not yet active this afternoon, but the techs have promised to work on getting those fixed shortly.

So what do you think of the new mix? Which songs are worth checking out? Leave your comments and share my love your thoughts.

xx DrumMania & GuitarFreaks V6 - BLAZING!!!
November 07, 2008, 09:33:02 am by EBE@RTF
Konami has put up a location test page announcing the latest in the DrumMania/GuitarFreaks series: V6 BLAZING!!!

http://www.konami.jp/am/locationtest/gfdmv6/

Nothing else has been posted to the Konami site as yet, so no further details are available on the title.

With the growing strength of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, I think it's safe to expect more classic rock tracks and a renewed focus on rock and metal music styles as with V5.

exclamation Aussie e-Amuse
November 01, 2008, 09:49:55 am by Keaven
Well, as you all may or may not know. It is being arranged with Konami to connect Australia with the e-Amuse network. It has been very slow going, and unfortunately I have merely been a spectator in the arrangements.

I have recently been in contact with the South East Asia Konami Representative who will be initially launching the system for two store locations. Timezone George Street and another location in Melbourne that I do not know. I do not know how soon it will be online, and I've not got high hopes, but it is under way.

Being a store Owned by the owner of Replay, if it is successful it will no doubt quickly spread to his locations in Brisbane before hitting any location available.
